Moving around the grounds at night shooting pictures is fun. Bring a strong light and do some light painting, I'm sure you will get better results than what I have here…

Explore the intertidal zone by taking a quiet, leisurely, stroll along the elevated mangrove boardwalk. Keep your observation powers on full alert to see the amazing variety of bird life in the trees and across the exposed flats. As the tide drops the mangrove shoots are exposed and the mud and sand flats come alive with all sorts of crustaceans. Then as the tide rises the shallows are filled with small fish and sea creatures.
Just stand quietly and listen to the bird calls, you will be amazed just how noisy your quiet walk really is.

This great picture was taken by John Hill using a small drone helicopter controlled remotely from the ground.
It shows a view looking from the East back over the fish pond to the Museum.
It’s a view only our feathered friends above usually get to see.
